I often get asked this question - a lot! When I tell people that I am a ghostwriter the concept to many seems so alien. Really, do people pay money for others to write something for them and then sign their name to the bottom? Well, yes, of course they do - it happens all the time. Is it ethical? Yes. Is it legal. Why, of course it is. The responses no longer surprise me.
But for those who own their own their business, they understand too well the concept of how difficult it can be to run their own business and manage all the aspects themselves without some form of outsourcing. Businesses outsource all the time for various aspects whether it is accounting, HR, cleaning or some other aspect that they find too time consuming. By outsourcing, managers are able to spend more time on the important stuff, growing their business and working on the money making aspects of the business, leaving the other stuff to people like myself.
In most cases, my clients have an idea about what they are going to write. They may even have already written something in preparation but just aren't quite sure how to put it together. The final piece of work is ultimately their vision to coincide with their business plan, I just give them a helping hand to get it finalised to meet their requirements and deadline.
Blogging, social media and other marketing content can be time consuming - often blogs go ignored and posts are written as and when there is time. That is where I can help. It is my job to ensure that posts are not forgotten - I write and upload - it is as easy as 1, 2, 3.
If you don't outsource your writing, maybe 2014 is the year to do so. Whether you are overworked, dealing with limited time, or just hate the thought of writing, contact me for more details.
