While we do have a television in our room we have not turned it on since the day of our arrival. Number 1 because it mainly has shows in Spanish and whatever foreign channels we can access from here and number 2, we don't need to.
Life in a hostel is fun as you are exposed to different people as soon as you wake up and the day is interesting to say the least. We are managing to entertain ourselves with the various toys and books we brought with us and the various board games we managed to squeeze into our luggage.
While the first words out of Little Master 3's mouth each morning is Disney Junior, the habit is slowly dying and he just smiles and is ready to play with his cars or whatever else is interesting for him that day.
We are not totally without electronics as Master 3 has his LeapPad and Little Miss 8 her 3DS and of course I have my laptop (which is used to blog, share photos and keep in contact with the outside world) but other than that we are relearning how to adjust in a different environment and making the most of what we have around us.
