After the first week or so of dining out, we have been endeavouring to cook more meals on our little gas burner while still getting used to the food available to us.
And kudos to my kids who are making a big effort in eating the things we put before them. Prior to coming to Peru Little Miss 8 would never eat an omelette (or eggs for that matter) and now she is requesting them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
And tonight I cooked pumpkin soup which they (Little Miss 8 and Master 3) ate - wonders will never cease. Never one to force my kids to eat, I figured their taste buds would change as they got older and they would sample the food in front of them and this turned out to be very true.
At times my kids make me very proud (when they are not stressing me out or making me want to tear my hair out!). ;)
